Ksamil
Also called “The Maldives of Europe”, Ksamil is a picturesque village located along the Albanian Riviera, on the southern coast of Albania.
Particularly famous for its stunning beaches, Ksamil is surrounded by a small archipelago of four islands that can be reached by boat, offering additional opportunities for exploration and relaxation.
The most well-known beach is Ksamil Beach itself, featuring soft white sand and turquoise waters. In addition to the main beach, the area is dotted with smaller coves and beaches, making it a haven for beach enthusiasts.
Situated around 15 kilometers south of Saranda, it is easily accessible by road, and there are various transportation options available from Sarandë to Ksamil. The village is also close to the Albanian-Greek border, which can make it a convenient stop for travelers exploring both countries.
